02 sensors

Justa quick question are the upstream 02 sensors interchangeable on an 02 4.6 gt? TRying to figure out if the 02 i replaced was just a defected one, so im was gonna try swapping them and then see what kind of code it will throw me then.

As in left to right? Yes

They say 94-04 are the same, but there is a year where they actually changed part numbers. That, off the top of my head, I cannot recall.

That is the change year, 96-98 takes a F5MZ-9F472-AA and from 99-04 they changed to 5C5Z-9F472-AA for the SOHC GT only.

All 4 O2 sensors on the 99-04 are the same. The two up stream have a different length pigtail on them... only real difference.
