03 Clutch Problem

Ok so here's the deal. When i push in the clutch in it still doesnt let me put it in to gear. It shakes horribly about halfway down and makes a squealing noise when its on. When its off, when you push the clutch pedal down, its sounds like the springs are messed up. One opinion tells me that it was just the throwout bearing and the retainer sleeve that it rides on. Another says the springs on the pressure plate are f-ed up. Therefore a whole new clutch might as well be put in...anyone else have any suggestions??
