I do understand how that goes

The crank and rods would be for reliability, would not effect performance, The pistons would bump compresion ratio but on a single cam I am not sure of the chamber volume to say what the compresion would be.

The crank is an 8 bolt, but I dont think it stamped anywhere, The rods say Manley on the side of them and the rod bolt I think say ARP. The pistons have JE forged on the botton of the deck.

In a stock Gt they will raise compression to almost 12.1:1

If they are stock Manley rods, which Ford DID use for the 03 Cobra super charged, there will be a Ford part number below where it says Manley.

I am willing to bet money they may be Ford OEM rods though. However, Ford never used JE pistons in the stock form.

To verify a Cobra crank, there will be additional counter weights in the middle of the crank. Near the snout, it may have a stamp that says Kellogg or have the Ford part # .

I bought these rods new and they are aftermarket Manleys, The pistons I bought New, the crank is the only part that came out of the cobra from the factory. All the original rods and pistons which were SVT Have been sold long ago. How much did you want to bet?

No need to get jumpy now, notice my highlighted quote above.

But you also jumped the gun and said "The crank is an 8 bolt, but I dont think it stamped anywhere, The rods say Manley on the side of them and the rod bolt I think say ARP. The pistons have JE forged on the botton of the deck."
