I drive a 95. 5.0 whole different ball game in the 5.0 world

maybe im wrong, but from my understanding, the 94-98GTs had somewhere in the range of about 225HP and the 99+ has 260. so why does that make it better that you have a 95 compared to a 99+?

It doesn't take much to make the new ones faster than a 5.0

cost/ availability of parts, options to do whatever the F you want to achieve a certain attainable speed

britt -- im confused at what you are trying to say, but in no way am i arguing that a stock 5.0 is faster than a stock 4.6. i drove my moms 00GT and was VERY surprised at how much power it had, with stock gears too.

davis-- ahh yes... very good point. didnt think about that, and i definitely agree. much cheaper to mod a 5.0

I'm saying the new GTs are faster than the 5.0's therefore the 2005 GTs will be faster than the 5.0s. They aren't going to take away horsepower.
