You know I noticed those scratches on my window tint and I bought my car at bluebonnet. I guess I will be calling them because they had my tint installed there at the place they use on all thier aftermarket stuff. I think its called Gearstop. I know they warranty anything that Gearstop installs on the vehicles they sell. Congrats, and I will be doing the same.

your opinion on the mater is just that opinion but its not a design flaw that a factory part doesnt work with a non factory acessorie.

I just dont understand how you cant see that Ford realized it was a problem and made a new part as a fix. They did not have to do this but they did.

Comparing something like a window slide scratching tint and needing forged pistons to add a supercharger is like comaring steak to spam. Its just STUPID!

Why cant you just agree that ford realized they made a part that damaged a HIGHLY COMMON accessory and they designed a new part to fix it?

I am Done!

Dan,
They are both accesories.By your reasoning its one and the same,
"Ford should take into consideration".
Ford doesnt care about what you MIGHT do.
I work at a Ford dealer 65 hours a week,in parts.
Please post part numbers for your factory fix when you get it.

I am from Detroit. My entire family works for Ford. From my grandfather as VP of Environmental Engineering, My dad as an Engineer, cousins and uncles as designers, laborers, etc. They do care about what we do with our cars otherwise they wouldnt make aftermartket parts in the first place.

Did you get your tint at bluebonnet too?

I did mine with Wilson and I'm wondering if I can still get the repair through the dealership.

they should care that a high number of their customers might want to do this to their product. Comparing superchargers which is probably less than 2% of customers to tint is like comparing apples to oranges. I called Jordan Ford which is where i bought my car, and they said as soon i can get it over there they will fix it so it wont sctrach my tint. keep in mind that i didnt have my car tinted there or any other ford dealer. So according to you statement they shouldnt be fixing it since they are only fixing dans because he bought his tint there.

Mine had the tint on it when I bought it but they never asked me when I had it put on. They just offered to fix and retint no questions asked.

I've got a question: Has anyone had issues with their sideview mirror popping into place, once the door gets closed? I've had my right sideview mirror replaced twice because for whatever reason, every time I shut the door, the top edge of the mirror that is over the window gets left out, until it pops itself back in once the door is shut.
