Thats cool- I looked for 6 months for a decent GT down here in Houston, every freaking time I went to get one--some ba_tard would get it before me. Plus they all had way too many miles for the price. H-town is not the place to buy a Mustang. But you know what- a Mustang is a Mustang...Thats why I am gonna take some $$ I hid from the old lady and at least make it half-way respectable---GO MILLER LITE!!!!!!! Or any other beer that does the trick

Gears, exhaust, cold air/tuner, shifter.. same things the GT guys do, only thing is, it's not going to make the power a V8 will, which is fine.

Is this going to be your daily driver or are you willing to throw thousands at it for mods like forced induction of some kind?

well put.
you really won't get any impressive power out of v6's with H/C/I, yes, you will make power, that of a stock gt, but hardly any or no more than a stock gt.

blower or juice is the way to go if you want a lot more power from a v6.

Gears and exhaust are the best mods if you don't want to go the F/I road.

Thanks for all the replies, good info- gonna get the exhaust re-done and cold air induction first--then if uncle sam ever gives me my damn rebate check (which the old lady thinks we are not getting), then the blower and the rest. What are the blowers running for? And what are the steps of installing

well 5k is what I am willing to spend-----any decent placed for the install. SCobraVT99-you live in Round Rock? My oldest brother lives there, he has a 68 mustang which he put ford racing motor/tranny in it-nice freaking car, he's spent about 20-25k total on restoration-trying to get him to join or send some pics of his beast...Any good mechanics in Round Rock who work on these? We are always going up to Round Rock-nice place to live-he owns enginnering firm up there in RR.
