Ok, as to the reason im using an off-road H-pipe...ITS CHEAPER! I would rather go through cats, actually, because if you reduce backpressure too much on an engine you will LOSE power (as Tanya pointed out). The reason i went with shorties is they came with teh engine (well, actually, i had no choice as they are the only headers that will fit GT40P heads by this company (or so they say) and at this point 5 or so hp isnt going to bother me much. The H-Pipe and flowmaster american thunder is just a cheap, good sounding combo. The tires...im clueless, all i know is i want something that will hook, not cost an arm and a leg, and not hydroplane too bad.
