Yes but many people won't notice it's sarcastic tone. When we read "A Modest Proposal" in highschool english class I would say that myself and maybe 3 others realized that he wasn't actually advocating eating babies and that the whole article was a social satire. The rest of the class was horrified and even after it was explained there were a couple who said "Sure he wants you to believe that he meant this satircally, but i think he really meant it." Just goes to show you how stupid people can be and how some cling to their stupidity even in the face of the truth. OK I'll get off of my
