I have the same problem dude but mines an auto. It only does it in overdrive at low speeds like if i hold it at 1800 it will do the whining sound. But if i let off the gas it will stop. No clue what it is.

I dont know a whole lot about AOD's but it sounds like the front pump may be going out or acting up. I have a buddy that knows a lot about AOD's.
