if you notice any sort of erratic handling take it to a real shop and have them look at it. a high school bud of mine decided not to fix an LCA/front sway bar he messed up in a similar way as you and he ended up losing control because of the messed up suspension and costing him 3,000$ in paint/body when he sideswiped a wall.
im not doing the work myself... im not well enough versed in susupension components. im trying to get it in sometime this week to put it on the lift to have it inspected... the front control arms seem to be straight though just from my visual inspection... i was just seeing what i have to work with. The car feels sloppy on left corners but im 90% sure that is from the massive toe in condition.
