I think you can still get away with the 94-04 offset (24mm i think) but not too sure if they will stick out past the fender. You might have to go with 05-up offset

I have 20 x 10s with an 05 offset on a sn95 rear. Fits nice with the fenders rolled and 285's.

I used to run 18x10s with 285s on my old 91GT, it had a stock length 5 lug rear end in it so I was using 94-04 offset wheels. With the 285s I still had more then enough room to comfortably fit a 295 tire...I squeezed a nitto 315 on there with a 1/4" spacer (might have been a little thicker then 1/4"), I had to remove the quad shock and massage the inner fenders with a BFH. It was a snug fit but looked badass nonetheless

Most likely will need to beat the inner fender well also. I have 17x8 all arond on my 85 with a 98 cobra complete rear axle. I have no rub in the rear but a 10 needs a little massaging from what i understand.

should of said 300's... as in 305, 315 tire size

unless he wants to run 3's in the 1/4 mile

I don't think you'll be able to fit 305s under the rear with sn95 length axles. Unless you have 36+mm offset rims.

I think it should be fine... I have the Sn95 length axles, and I'm running a 17x9 +45mm offset in the rear (05+ wheel size).. you will want a 45mm offset to fit correctly.
