1967 Ford Mustang Coupe 347 stroker build up
Hey guys. I am new here just wanted to know what ya'll think about the engine I am building. It is a 289 block bored .040 over. I just took the block to get zero decked and clearanced. I bought a 347 stroker kit with Keith black pistons part # 246-040. I bought some aluminum heads that are ported and polished, they are kind of old and the guy I bought them from thought they were AFR 205's but I talked to AFR and they said that they could not verify that the heads were their's. I am putting the Comp Cams Big Mutha Thumpr cam, with the hydraulic roller retrofit kit. also comp cams roller rockers 1.7 I have an Edelbrock Torker II single plane intake manifold, and an Edelbrock 750 cfm carb. Let me know what you think and what kind of HP #'s I should be looking at.

you'd be looking at 300+ easily on that setup, esp. with a 347 stroker

I believe you should be going with 1.6 ratio rocker arms instead of the 1.7. I can't remember right now what the guy that helped me with my set told me but he prefered the 1.6 ratio to the 1.7. Everything else sounds like a great setup.
