After Mike's dyno tune, the car made 270hp at the back wheels at 5,000rpm. The engine has a Ford Motorsports cam that should have kept making more horsepower until about 6,000rpm, but the run stopped at 5,000. Also, the car still had the original cats on the exhaust system. When Murillo Motorsports installed the new King Cobra clutch, the cats were replaced with an x-pipe. I guess I can't give a definite number for rwhp. I did take the car to San Antonio Raceway to see how it would do. Best was 14.02 at 99.6. But, that's how I found out the clutch needed to be replaced. It slipped in every gear. I haven't taken the car back to the track since the new clutch was put in.

It's gone

With some sadness, I watched someone drive off last night in this car. Well, at least he paid me.
