For that pcv pre-filter, I would still run a hd or lowe's or whatever you prefer filter. I'm still getting that cup full quite frequently. I don't think that thing helped me out much.

If you don't mind me asking, how much does Kotzur charge for their work? You can pm if you don't want to post.

Thanks, all.

it's still a work in progress to work out the bugs but I'm now in capable shop hands. I'm hoping to get it back to the shop soon to finish up (been getting break-in miles on the motor) with the final dyno tune (and possibly have to swap out the O2s).

That's dependent on what is done...

Nice John, I had no idea you had a spun bearing before.

The part that sucks was that I was EXTREELY anal about keeping up the oil level and having fresh oil. I changed the oil every 1000-1500 miles with Mobil 1. When I started getting the signs of spun bearings, I checked the oil level and it was fine; Oil was still pretty fresh, too. Them's the breaks, I guess.

Well, unfortunately, the numbers are nowhere near expected. There are issues that's keeping the motor from running its' full potential. Once those issues are resolved, who knows. I'm just looking forward to having this thing run the way it's supposed to be run (and run right for the $$$ I paid that shop) - I'm in good hands now though.

it was in the first shop about 4 months from March to June 2007. Then they left me hanging with a crappy running cobra.

the second (current) shop did troubleshooting (that the first shop wouldn't do) and had it just a few days; they got it running a lot better. since then, I've had it most of the time trying to break in the motor (mostly to blow out all of the oil build-up that's in the intake from when the first shop gave me my car). I'm hoping to get it to the second shop this weekend to possibly finish up.

nope, all performance mods. I prefer a stock look. It could use some paintwork though.

yup! when the motor is ready for it, i'll be there; motor break-in first, then the 1320 runs. A lot of the recent mods were to beef up the IRS to help control wheelhop, especially with the 4.56s.

should have stuck with the oem cable.

if you have any issues with clutch stiffness that will be the culprit.
