Obviously, a lot of it has to do with weight bias and total weight. More importantly, most racers try to keep the front wheels on the ground. It takes power to lift the wheels off the ground, and any power spent doing that is not available to push the car forward.

Basically, you want to pull the front end only as high as necessary. You keep stiffening the shocks until your 60 fts slow down.



My car is nose heavy, but I can still keep the tires down and hook. Once I move the battery to the trunk I am hoping to stiffen the shocks a little more, slow down the front end a little more, and pull more off the ET....
