its not that hard
the kit comes with an exploded picture of the carb and some instructions
buy a gallon of carb cleaner and soak it in there
just pay attention when you take it apart so you know how it goes back.
count the turns on the air/fuel screws from where they are at to bottomed out, that way you will be close when putting them back.
check the clearance on the throttle shaft bushing, they will need to be replaced if the shaft moves.
i'm sure others will have more advise.
You can do it, not too hard.
If you can do that, then it is actually not too much harder to rebuild the C4 automatic trans.
