and silver, hmm umm, no
I could go the original Honey Gold, but with a racing apron, teardrop hood, side scoops, and all the race car goodies, I don't think the gold would look right.
I know I liked the stripes, especially when sitting behind the wheel and looking over that red with white striped hood.

I do remember at one time thinking about a dark green with gold stripes or white stripes.

Although this is all unimportant, a nice gray primer and all the body panels on the car would be just as nice right now!!
