Depends on several things...paint quality, proper reducer for temps, gun set up and adjustment, spray technique, A CLEAN GUN, Not much harder than solids actually. Alot of people think spraying metalics "dry" is best, but actually it's not. The metallics will lay too flat and the color will be lighter. Spraying "wet" will allow the metallics time to lay out in the proper orientation.
