Silver Bucket results from last night

First off...the weather was perfect and the track was horrible. The first pass was a 12.34@109.68 with a 1.69 60'. The car spun really hard in second and I drifted towards the center line. Next pass was a 12.33@109.89 with a 1.70 60'. Again the car spun pretty bad. I called Brian from Texas Hot Rods and told him what the car was doing. We made some strut/shock adjustments and here we go. This car felt better off the line and turned a 1.66 60' and a third gear miss pass of a 12.75@107.12.

I called Brian again and he made some more adjustments. Next pass was a 12.22@110.24 with a 1.65 60'. Now it was time to start the shootout. I dialed in a 12.20 and was ready for the first elimination run. The other car got over a 2 second head start, so I lauched (the car felt good), caught and passed him...then let off at the 1000' mark and blipped the throttle twice through the lights. The bucket ran a 12.2077@109.60 with a 1.62 60'. Brian was definitely making improvements.

Then a nasty injected Cuda made a test run and scatted his tranny at the 1/8 mile mark and since it was getting late...they stopped the shoot out. I made a final pass just to check the 60' and shifting at 6200 rpms. I ran a 12.26@110.29 with a 1.64 60'.
