3650 TSB in Dallas

I have had my car at North Central Ford for the third time now and they 1) replaced the tranny, 2) replaced the shifter & 3) now they are telling me there's nothing they can do. Have any of you stangers had a success story in the Dallas area with getting the 1-2 shift ginding problem resolved? I am (barely) still in warranty & I'm tired of grinding my gears until the car warms up on cold mornings. :pissed:

Try draining the factory fluid and replace with 3.2 quarts of Havoline Dexron III

I'll try that but I still want them to fix the problem that Ford themselves acknowledge exists.

BTW, I love a good B&B fan.

This situation sucks more than anything has ever sucked before...

My suggestion is this.Be persistant.Let your service writer know that you are aware a TSB exists for your issue. If that gains you no ground then go right up the chain of command. Also your best bet is if you bought it brand new take it to your original dealer who sold it to you. They want your return business. They are more likely to help you in this case.

Replacing the tranny fluid eliminated a third-gear lockout problem mine had, and the best part was not having to leave it for service (heh-heh...that sucks)

Well I finally got North Central Ford to perform the TSB with negative results. Oh well, maybe people will think I'm just a moron who can't shift. That'll make me feel better.
