You didnt mention what year model. But it sounds like you may have different gears in the rear end. A tune will correct it if the car is new enough, or ou may need a speed gear if its older (dont aske me the years).
You're close enough to Dallas, you can go there (Dallas Mustang?), or if you really want a good tune, go to Oklahoma City; lookup swtuning.com.
A dealer wont help you much.
