some more updates: I just bought some heads that came off a 2001 GT from a fellow board member here. In due time, they will be ported and polished. Future plans call for installing them, upgrading Stage 2 N/A and seeing where the intake market stands at that point (This is a few months off).
I'm 64 days out from returning to Texas and I already have plans for the car:
- getting the Maximum Motorsports LCA's fixed. They didn't go on because one of the arm's is missing a part of it's mount. I have to dig through my e-mails, find where I ordered them from and get the ball rolling on getting those puppies replaced on the car where they belong
- getting her ready for the trek to California. It's a 1200 mile drive to "home". I did alot of general maintenance before I stored her and had some things done while I was here. New tires, fresh brake pads and rotors (maybe Cobra upgrade?) are in order.
- That crappy tint is finally coming off for something alittle more quality!
- I found a Trick Flow plenum at a really good price so I'm watching how this works out
Ok, tech question time: when choosing a cold air intake, does what material it's made of really matter? I would imagine that a metal one (BBK, C&L) would suffer from heat soak more than a plastic one (Densecharger, S&B Intake).....
