373's on 05GT

is this a good choice for my 05 gt? I had 410's in a mustang i used to have 10 years ago. Good for the track but I didn't like it for everyday use.

Are 373's a good upgrade from the factory gear ratio?

I believe they come with 3.55's. SO a 3.73 wouldn't be a big change nor worth the money. I'd Say 3.90 or 4.10

+1 3.73 wouldnt be much of a difference, try 3.90s.

Mine has 3.31's stock.
was going to go 4.10, but not now with the price of gas, would rather keep the mileage as good as I can for a daily driver.

4.10s on these cars are more like 3.55 on old cars due to the much taller tires

So would the stock 3:31's be more like a 2:73 then because of the tires?

I have 4:10's in my 08 and on the highway at 70mph in 5th, the rpm's are only at 2500. That's also with my 18 inch wheels. I noticed a huge difference in acceleration with 4:10's and if you break them in properly, you won't have any whining or noise issues.
