Don't take it personally, Tommy. Most of us know how bad the street radials tear up the line. Nobody is blaming you, they are just stating that the track was not hooking like it sometimes does. Like you pointed out, there are LOTS of reasons for it.

I agree that you have to be ready to make some adjustments and not a lot of people do. It is pretty amazing what just a few psi in slicks will do. Shock adjustments make an even bigger difference. Even in a street car with drag radials and stock shocks you can do simple things like bolt the spare and jack back in the trunk and pump in another 5 gallons of gas to get a little better hook!
