In the picture of your new cat, there's a little pipe sticking out the side. We don't use those in the '05s...those are for older vehicles using a separate air pump to shove air through the cats.
The stock cats are too thick-round I think, but there's plenty of other cats that aren't as thick/tall. Just use something w/o those side tubes.

BTW, will those downpipes fit? can't tell from the picture, but are they for 05+? To keep the pipes high enough, they'll have to run alongside the transmission and then behind it before crossing over. Based on the length of the cat, the pipes don't appear to be long enough...but I could be wrong...just asking.
