I run the 275/60/15 M/T Drag Radials. I have had a lot of trouble getting the car to hook, but my car also has problems on used 10.5 X 28 M/T slicks. My car did a best 60' of 1.4706 on the used 10.5 X 28 M/T slicks and a best of 1.477 on the 275/60/15 M/T drag radials. I have just made a few changes and hope to finaly get the car to work on both tires. You will have to roll the wheel lips and possibly do a little work on the inner wheel house. When I put the 10.5 X 28 slicks I had to go back and do more clearancing on the inner wheel house, the tires are shaped completely different. The slicks are a lot lighter also. I plan on getting another pair of rear wheels to put a new set of slicks on, but until then I plan on continuing to try to make the car work on the radials. I have gotten the Nito drag radials to work very well on 11 second cars, and I have a friend that has a set of 275/45/17 Nitto drag radials on his supercharged '90 lx hatch that is easly a low 11 second car very possibly a high 10 second car and it will hook on both the track and the street if the road has a good surface.
