Mac catback and Roush Shifter

Installed a Mac catback exhaust(p/nTK9624) on my o4 GT yesterday.Install took a couple of hours, everything fit great, mufflers tucked up nice and tight inside the frame and those stainless steel tips lined up perfectly in the cutouts in the rear bumper, nice clean install. When we started it,I liked what I heard immediatley, nice deep rumble, with the Bassani o/r X I have I think it is a little deeper than the Flows I had on my car.Nice and quiet while cruising around but when you get on it,power! I was going back and forth FM or Mac,I picked the Mac because of what I got for the $$ I spent, plus I wanted something different than the Flows, and the Mac was the least expensive of all the catbacks I looked at.We also installed a Roush shifter(p/n69015,Roush 3650 base)I bought from American muscle.com.It was just the base,no handle but I had a Steeda tri-ax handle already. We popped off the old shifter and screwed down the new one.Thats when we discovered it was a short throw. It wasn't described as a short throw when I ordered it,I thought it was a factory replacement, something a little smoother. We put it together, had to enlarge the holes in the handle and run to Auto Zone for a couple of bolts.I was absolutely amazed at how short the throws are,I've never driven a vehicle that had a short throw so the click click shifts were smooth and very short.I let my friend Chris(black stang 02) drive my car,he came back and told me the throws were shorter than his Steeda tri -ax shifter,he's probably ordered one by now.The best part is the shifter was only $95.00 and they shipped it to me for nothing.Just wanted to share the goodies I put on my ride yesterday, next I'm going to drop it a couple of inches,it'll look awesome.
