True but wouldn't it be more cost effective to stick with the 7.5" if he isn't planning on making over 400 rwhp? Not only that but the 8.8" does weight more. I think a true-trac is around $425 and a girdle would be around $180. It would be easier to find 4.10's for an 8.8" but there are plenty of places that offer 4.10's for the 7.5" as well.
