yes that is true I was just double checking. And visually verified on my car today that both lines are facing the rear with the bleed screws facing forward.

I think I found my problem or part of it anyway. The mastercylinder is a reman and has a bleed screw under the cylinder bore and is leaking fluid around it. I have a new mastercylinder waiting to go into the car and plan to replace the rear brake line coming off the hardline to the axle and then everything will be new.
