T5 conversion for 65-73: Gauging interest
Here's what I have I have : a stock 157 tooth flywheel (289,28 oz. 302,351), Hays street/strip clutch and pressure plate, starter index plate, 79-93 T5 bellhousing machined to accept early style linkage , trans crossmember ( I am 100% positive the x member will work on 65-66)
All you need is a 79-93 style T5
shorten stock driveshaft
Make me a reasonable offer........
I'm thinking about $450 obo. You know what this would cost if you did brand new if you are thinking about it.........
No lowballer BS please. I do know what it would cost to gather needed pieces. I sold the car so I no longer need this stuff.
