how much did you make this year?
what is your mothers gross income?
are you in college?
these are all important things to take into account when deciding how you should be claimed.
For example, when i made 6500 in college, I could claim myself and pay no taxes, or pay my tiny amount of taxes, 50 or 200 ish.
If you claim yourself, you mother would miss out on an 8k tax deduction. If she is in a 25 percent tax bracket, thats a 2k dollar tax savings that she could have gotten, just so you could get 600.
This would not be wise.
Oh and horay for goverment printing money for us to spend. It just devalues our dollar, makes gas and foreign goods more expensive. Higher fuel costs make everything cost more. milk, fruit, cheese, electricty.
maybe some people will wisely use to this to pay their mortgage payment and bank the rest
