Idle issues with Ford and aftermarket is an ongoing issue. Tuning over and over can get it close, but never correct, hell, mine still has issues. You bought new parts off a guy who was selling them cuz he wrecked his car, you obviously think he would say NO THEY WON'T WORK FOR YOU or HELL YES, THEY'LL WORK, NOW PAY ME MONEY??

I think that later is the better answer, he wrecked the car, needed the money, sold you the parts, end of story. Did you do your own research before you bought the parts or was it just an impulse buy cuz he had the parts and you wanted to go faster??

I have the same problem now at my shop, I installed "used" exhaust that was bent, tweaked, and even the existing catback was installed wrong from the get go, it has wear marks in the axle tubes to prove it, now that I touched it last, a list of problems have been blamed on me. As a person who works on these cars for a living, what do you do? Step up and see if it was your fault or just leave it be and piss off a customer and risk internet ruin.

What I am trying to say, and has been mentioned previously, bringing in used or even your own parts without 100% knowledge of it is "all works as a combo" is your responsibility, a risk you take. Having a shop take your car, suggest what you need, you agree, they build, it messes up, it is the shops responsibility then.

It's like a super engine or transmission builder builds you parts, you take it to the track and blow it, who are you gonna blame........ the builder right??

It's a give give situation, you wanna play, you gotta pay. There is never really a true warranty in performance parts or modding, it is a gamble every time.
Has a damn good point.
