What did you build your car for, posting pictures of it on web , just running time trials or racing it? I don't know about you, but I love to race and like many can not afford to build a car to compete in an NMRA of NMCA class much less the travel expenses. There are a lot of people that keep talking about this subject, nobody has gone much farther than that. If I had the money I would start a regular event. The idea of getting a few shops or buisness to sponsor a few classes is possibly a good way to get this started. The same type of cars I am talking about, are owned by the same people that are a good percentage of the customers of the local shops. The idea is a good one someone just needs to take the initiative. I know I should not have posted my response on this forum, because it is a waste of time on this forum, but someone else started the talk of a racing series.

Your absolutely right! When my car gets done, it will be DR car and honestly there isn't many places to run it unless you start running with the sanctioned groups. My car won't even come close to what they are running and that is what a lot of people here (I think) run into as well. That is why I would like to see something like an ALL FORD DAY get started. I don't think I can get it done by myself, but I want to get the wheels turning and possibly see if with others it can happen. As far as cutting the car count by limiting brand, well I am for that. There is a Super Chevy show, and Mopar day, why not just Fords. Plus you start letting everybody run, then you have stupid people getting involved and honestly, that is what I don't want to pay to watch or race against.
