who the hell said he would need fox style struts? can you not read?
I said specifically what I meant. If you go with any good spring, you should use any aftermarket struts. Not some autozone piece of poo.
if you go with an HR SS or stiffer, or a sportline, you are going to be out of the efficientcy of the stock strut. It will last.... for a while. It will also ride rougher than if you had aftermarket struts that can handle our heavy blingtastic deep dish 27 pound ford wheels and our drop.
I dont autocross or road race, but the H&Rs were enough to blow a brand new stock replacement strut. I have seen it on several cars, Hell, there is even an article on the web of a spring install on a Mach 1 with its better than stock GT struts. Guess what, it blew them!
what did I bash? The fact that Jodi said a lowered car would not neccessitate a good strut?
Sorry, but i actually get passionate about things when someone gives misinformation over the internet that will cost people undue troubles. Not every body can afford to do things right the second time.
