The differences,are as i'm told,that roller cam journals,are larger than a the journals of a non-roller cam so a roller cam won't fit in a non-roller block,and the lifter bores on a roller block are longer to accomidate roller lifters than that of a non-roller block...correct me if i'm wrong,but thats what i've been told....so no problem man...good luck
