I prefer to pull the engine to do a head change. The head bolts being damn near 12 inches in length don't make it easy, dropping the engine with the k-member and tranny is so much faster and ensures no mishaps on the MLS head gaskets, not to mention, it would be an opportune time to slap some long tubes in while it's out.
