Pretty simple, disconnect the battery, let it sit for about 10 minutes to be sure all modules power down, remove the 2 plastic cover caps on the side of the steering wheel cover, remove the 2 8mm bolts, pull the driver air bag out, unplug it and reinstall is the reverse.
Passenger side, remove the glove box, should be 2 or 4 10mm or 8mm nuts, remove then (2 on the top 2 on the bottom) and slide it out, disconnect the connector, install is the reverse.

Connect battery, turn key on, (I always move to the side just in case of deployment, although has never happened) and watch the air bag light come on and the go off. If no problems found, no light.

For what it is worth, I have replaced air bags w/o disconnecting the battery on several vehicles with no problems, but then again, I am a trained professional and I do all my own stunts.
