It depends if you are negotiing a street race circa 2002 or taking to a a tech forum.
cams are not a bolton they bolt in, or slide in. In the old MMFF days, they called "heads cam and intake" cars bolton cars, which is a little far fetched. a blower bolts on just as easily as cylinder heads
in reality, there are
Bolton cars
Cammed cars
HCI or HC ~ heads cam(s) , heads cam and intake cars
and blower nitrous or turbo designations on top of all of these
HCI would apply to any 4.6 that had ported 4.6 heads, cams and a bullit/hardball/typhoon/p51 etc
a Bullit would of course be merely HC
a 96-98 with PI swap I would give the PI w/cams designation if they are stock PI heads
Your car is close to the equivelant of mine if the heads were fully ported. A mustang with improved stock cylinder heads off a later year ford with aftermarket cam(S).
A chevy would be HCI once it had ported heads, cam and a FAST intake. HCI stock ls1s can make 475+ rwhp on the stock bottom end
2v 4.6s streeeetch to make 340. so sad...
