Another thought to consider is what is going to let you drop the tranny without having to loosen the exhaust again.

kooks, hookers, slp I know are good for clearance....im not too sure of the bassani's.

That and I have heard people having problems getting the bassanis to seal up properly.
My Bassani have sealed just fine, but then again, it is a 2V. Archie does make a good point though, consider trans removal in header options.

If they make them for the 4V, Bassani or Hooker would be my option. The Kooks allow you, but for the price and the shitty design, stay away from Kooks. If you ever have to remove the starter (which you do for tranny removal) you can forget it.
