Well... i thought i was over this problem because i thought i found the solution. The shop that installed the clutch installed the firewall adjuster backwards and once i figured that out the adjuster for some reason was jammed and would not screw so i had to wait for another one to come in. I finally swapped them and adjusted the clutch where i wanted it and it was great... But after driving it for a lil while the damn thing went back to the high position as it was before. When i tighten it to where i want it the Chattering and everything is gone... its nice and firm and feels good when shifting but when it goes back to high after driving it a bit it starts to chatter again and feel loose and i have to ride it to get it to move from 0mph. I called steeda and asked them about the cable adjuster/firewall and the only thing they said to try was to go to the Clutch Fork and change the nuts down there. Right now the two nuts are tightend on the end of the cable next to each other. They said to remove one of the nuts and put it on the other side of the for so i will then have one nut on each side which sounds like bs to me. they said it sounds like theres too much play down there and the problem was having both nuts on the same side... the nuts screw together to hold themselves in place... i dont underestand how seperating them would make the difference and i think it would allow the nuts to loosen over time if they are seperated. Im running out of options and time with this problem... i need some hard advice or a good shop on the north side who would look at it free of charge and tell me what the deal is..... the adjuster and the firewall is not moving and the cable at the bottom is not moving but for some damn reason the clutch wont stay!!! lol im getting impatient. so any info for this would be great... thx
