[Firstlady]

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you know Jeff fell off a ladder at work yesterday, although it was not too high up, he was standing on the top part, leaning over a four or five foot pit that will soon be a bath tub....and he fell!

His wrist, elbow, butt, and head were all hit in the accident but he felt like he wanted to wait until today to see how he was doing. He woke up this morning still in pain, mostly in his wrist...luckily his butt only received scratches!!

I took him to the doc today and he has a fracture in his wrist. He is all splinted and bandaged now waiting for his appt with ortho next week. He couldn't just break it like a normal person, he had to break the bone that provides blood flow to his hand....long story short we will find out next week if he has to get a pin to make sure it heals properly and he doesn't lose any of his fingers.

Needless to say he won't be typing much over the next week...I thinkhe will get used to it in a couple of days and then be able to type, but for now I can imagine it will take him quite a while to get anything out with only one hand. Here is to the next 8 weeks of taking care of his ass while I just get bigger and bigger!!

I hope he feels better...and I feel bad for his fall....but the timing could not be worse....I guess unless it was when I was actually giving birth!!
