cnc just allows for a much faster copy of the exact port over and over..
but a talented hand porter can repeat his work over and over as well just a cnc is faster at it.

That, and CNC porting is not as cracked up to be as it is made. Modular engines tend to like some turbulence in port work where as CNC machining cannot duplicate.
