I was there last weekend for a grad party and I really enjoyed it. I like the big open roads they got down there. We had some homemade west Texas barbeque and the not so humid weather was great. We stayed around 97th street at a friend’s house in the new side of town. We checked out the mall down the street, cruised around the town, and I did see a lot of Stangs down there. We drove from Dallas so it took us about 5-6 hours going about 10mph above the speed limit because there are a lot of cops on those country roads, especially while arriving at post and leaving post.

Only thing about the open roads is them dang dust storms are terrible. My parents live not far from 97th street. I was there about 3 weeks ago my niece graduated from Tech. I do miss Lubbock alot besides the dust storms.
