i'm not trying to intentionally butt heads, but do you have gears? in theory it sounds right but in practice, you'll be lucky to get the same mpg in the city and your hwy mpg gets shot unless you cruise at 45mph like jeff does. >:O
tim... what tranny do you have. typically 5spd guys go with 3.73's due to their very short first gear and the automatics go for 4.10's. i have 4.10's in my 5spd and it's definitely enough gear for the car.
now that there is a 3.8 forum, you can ask q's and i won't dog on ya quite as much, but you'd still be better served from going to a specialty site instead of this one.
