I read all kinds of do not cut your springs drivel from all over.

So I went and cut my springs.

Got it lowered exactly where I wanted it to. The ride is really no different than any other I've ridden in with replacement springs. I was expecting alot worse ride than what I got. Worked well for me.

My advice is to go with a backup plan. Set aside money for some springs in case you cut and really don't like it. Stiffer springs are going to ride stiffer. Period. Whether they are cut stocks or lowering springs.
