my peices have often been mistaken for airbrush.. it really comes down to the prep and the way its painted as well as a little skill from the person doin it. but it can be done with a can, just make sure its exterior automotive paint
...As with other things how you take care of it as well will make a difference. over all if you plan to do it yourself airbrush would be a good way if you can control the over spray.
