well, Paul, when I looked at the back of you car, above the driver side tail light you can see where there used to be "302 SVT" badge.... Idk if is/was a SVT, but go look at you see what Im talking about

There were no Cobras made in '92, they came out in the middle of the '93 model year. Someone sent this same question to 5.0 magazine, their answer was that it possibly is a Canadian car. They said that in Canada Ford did use the cobra name on the Gt, but they were not cobras. If you want more info on Cobras check with the Cobra registry. The closest thing I saw to a Cobra before the Cobras came out, was Tommy Vaughn Ford In Houston put together some 5.0 cars that had GT40 intakes, heads, 65mm TB's and EGR spacers, blue silicone hoses, gears, motorsport clutches and an option for a single turbo. I think they had B303 cams. I have pictures of two of the cars, both are black coupes, one with the GT40 package and the other with the GT40 package and a single turbo.

My car is an '85 sonic blue coupe with 302 bored and stroked to 364, Ported Twisted Wedge heads and a BXR intake, A9M ECM with a Tweecer, C4 with trans brake, 275/60/15 M/T drag radials, no power adders.
