Gotta couple questions, i have the diablosport tuner and the JLT CAI. For some reason i only have the JLT 91 Octane tune in the tuner. I thought you get 3 tunes in the diablosport tuner 87,91,93. At least that is what the diablo site says. So i just installed the delete plates, and now i am getting a check engine light. I would like to get the 93 octane tune, who should i have do that.

when you purchase a DS predator it has 87 91 and 93 octane tunes from diablosport yes.

but if you buy a tuner cold air package and you are useing the predators built in tune for that manufacture the tuner comes with a 91 octane tune as they have to have room for around 10 different cold air manufactures in the predator and couldnt hold tunes for 89 91 and 93 for all of them

you can get a caned tune for 93 octane for it or get it dyno tuned using your predator .. a dyno tune runs 300 at PSI

Okay so, you are saying that i need a $300 tune on the dyno for putting on an $80 part. That is hard to belive. So everytime i install a new part i need a $300 tune.

No I did not say that i said that youy do not get a 93 octane tune from the predator for mulitle reasons the main being that there is onoy so much room in the predators memory and they have tunes for aprox 10 cold air manufactures.

you DO get a 91 octane tune in the predator

So you get a 91 octane tune for each because 93 octane IS NOT available in a lot of areas of the us but 91 is available everywhere.

Also if you get a 80 dollar cold air then is a pile and not one of the good ones.

Get used to the fact that the new mustangs are very computer sensative and require tuning for alot of things especialy anything that alters the mass air signal.

and yes in the case of the cmrc plates you need a tune to avoid the check engine light because they have to be turned off in the tune if removed.

Dean i did not get an $80 CAI, i got it from you the JLT. I was just needed to get it retuned because of the delete plates. It is alright though man i already got it taken care of. Bamachips.
