95 GT cant get it to start!!!!!!!!!!
so i have a 95 gt that had been running kinda crappy so i talked to some people and they said get a new coil the old one might be goin bad so i went and bought a new one and when i put it on the car wouldnt start so i put the old one back on and it still wouldnt start...did my ignition module or crank position sensor go out what should i do????? any help would greatly be appreciated

the tfi ignition module goes bad car wont start? just what happens when they go bad. or if it got hot than shut car off.
Are you getting spark ?
BTW there is no crank sensor on the 95..
If you haven't, pull the dizzy cap off and check the rotor ..
im getting no spark from the coil but getting power to the coil
Its likely either the control module which is close to the air filter or the pickup coil inside the dizzy
well i got a ignition module on the way so we will see ill kep yall updated
the stator in the dizzy is notorious on the 94-95.
if you need a new one buy a napa one.

Ok so just tried the new ignition module and now the fuel pump wont come on it was before but now its not comin on at all...bad fuel pump???
spray some carb cleaner spray in the intake and see if it fires up.
But will that tell me if the fuel pump is bad?
ok just found out fuel pump is still good it does still come on i just wasnt hearing it...so still a spark issue...i have a new coil ignition module cap rotor plugs wires kinda stuck on what to do now? and help would be great thanks guys
Pickup in the distributor.. Too bad you aren't closer to NB.. We could just stick the MSD out of my 94 in it to see if it fires up..

hey bro, you need to find a friend with a known good dizzy or you need to cough up the cash for one.
Its pretty common on these cars. Use the link to help find it but you're gonna end up at the Pip/ stator in the end.
ok so it turns out that the only problem was that i had the wires that go into the coil adapter in the wrong way they dont go in straight they go in sideways...wow i feel dumb...but problem solved but i still have the problem of my car having a miss and i am truely stumped now any help with this guys???
lol.. As far as the miss goes you need to start by figuring out which cylinder or cylinders are missing. To figure this out, unless you have some diagnostic tools which I'm gonna guess you don't, fire the car up let it warm up a little then grab some kind of spray bottle, or even just a simple dropper or squirt gun/water gun and spray each header tube close to the head with water and see which one(S) dissolves the water slower.. Typically it should go away imediately, and whichever cylinder takes a minute will end up being the missing cylinder.. From the check wire and plug to make sure fire is getting that far. If it is, it could be and injector, a burnt valve, or bad rings.. Will likely end up being something simple. Burnt wire, fowled plug, etc
Ck for plug wires going to ground and be sure the #5 and #6 plug wires are well seperated. They fire one after the other and are known to have issues with crossfire if they are to close together and or the wires wre older. I know it sounds silly but it does occur......
