It is very common to have issues with aftermarket alarm systems causing a no start situation.

Disconnect the alarm from the ignition system as a test and I bet that Stang will breath life again!!!

  • Canton radiator overflow reservoir
  • Fidanza or Spec Billet Steel Flywheel - (50oz 302cid 10.5" 157 tooth)
  • T56 Tranny with 5.0L Bellhousing & support brace
  • Maximum Motorsports Tubular K Member
  • Maximum Motorsports Tubular A Arms (std offset)
  • Coil over struts

how would i go about disconnecting it from the ignition. it's a viper security system it's got some years on it. i disconnected two fuses located by the battery and also two fuses by the kick panel. where else would it be connected to the ignition??

If the alarm was connected properly, then you should have some male to female connectors or a fit molded connector that can easily be removed leading from the alarm module underneath the dash towards the steering column. It could even be piggy backed on your factory wireless entry. I'd look on the internet for the directions of the model alarm system you have as to find out what wires are connected through the ignition. Also get familiar with the way the module looks as to make it easily identified in your vehicle.
